Advent Calendar: Day 13

Just about to go to bed and realised I hadn't scheduled my blog! (Seriously, do you think I have time to get this posted at 8.30am with two kids to herd to school?)

Gosh, I haven't had a lot of time to think about this... (I've actually been editing a short story this evening). Going to have to dig up something from the archives. I want to save some of my favourites till nearer Christmas.

Oh, Hugh Jackman!

(Gosh, I'm going to have to go back and make a list soon... I'm forgetting who I've posted already).

What is it with adding men to water, they become even sexier?

He's not really blond, but then he's not really dark either. Lovely eyes though :D And weren't I good? Quickly googled some fresh pictures for you, not used previous ones. Enjoy!

Today I will be marzipanning my Christmas cake! See, and there is something Christmassy related on this blog too.

Advent Calendar: Day 12

Firstly, I have to say happy birthday, Rachel! (She knows who she is). I'm not sure if she's a fan of the next man I'm about to post, but maybe I'll convert her!

I think it's time for another blond. A blond Bond, too. He's actually my favourite!

I'm not really a James Bond fan, which is ridiculous in some ways because I love a good action movie, and don't mind if it's a little bit far fetched. Lethal Weapon and the Die Hard films are right up my street! But watching Pierce Brosnon surf on some sort of door on a tidal wave was just plain stupid. (I can't even recall the name of it, but we watched the film at the cinema one night when we were in New Zealand, January 2003). I get they're trained killers and all that - he's good at a lot of things. But surfing is a skill, and to stand up and ride a wave takes a lot of practise, and is not a necessary skillset for a Secret Agent. Or is it? Maybe I would have believed it more if he'd 'body boarded' in. I've just found Bond films way too corny. Yes, more corny than Lethal Weapon or Die Hard!

When I watched Casino Royale, I was very impressed with the new Bond. I empathised with him, found him much more brooding, emotional and human.

Maybe there were new directors/producers, and realised James Bond could not longer be a cardboard cut out, and he needed some depth. Daniel Craig gave us new depth to Bond.

And of course there has to be a shirtless picture! Or my name's not Teresa Morgan!

Advent Calendar: Day 11

I am definitely scheduling this one. Last night was my works Christmas do, and I'm likely to have had a fair bit to drink, so may have a hangover this morning! (Gosh that's weird writing in past tense and it's not even happened yet.) If not, I will certainly be suffering with a cold, as that's chosen to come out now. Typical.

I know it's a bit early, but I don't want to miss sharing this with you. This is one of my favourite Christmas songs. The Pogues and Kirsty McColl - Fairytale of New York! Enjoy, and Merry Christmas, only two weeks now until the Big Day.

11th December

See my advent calendar isn't totally about eye candy, I mean writing inspiration 'heroes'.

Oh, okay, I bet I don't look as good as this with a hangover...  (Am I the only weird one liking that he looks a bit rough?)

Actually, I hope my evening was memorable... lol!  Better go check the boot of my car, make sure I don't have a naked ninja in there!

Advent Calendar: Day 10

My friend left the first picture on my Facebook wall, and as yesterday we were ogling Adam Levine, I thought - sticking with the theme of tattoos and singers - I'd post Robbie Williams. I just had to share this picture!

I know he is not everyone's favourite. He's like marmite, you either love him or hate him (so I expect mixed comments). I think through his career he's had ups and downs, and it's been a case of not having someone to love, or to love him (or at least that's what I like to think!) With this in mind, he's also my additional inspiration for my second novel that I am writing, Perfect Isn't An Option.

I love him! Even in the early days of Take That, I loved the cheeky chappie... and I definitely think his looks have got better with age. He has blue eyes, and dark hair (I will post some blonds soon), and tattoos suit him. I love most of his music, it went a bit strange with his falling out with Guy Chambers (which I'm not sure was his best move actually) and I was thrilled when he did an album with Take That - they too have improved with age! Men do get better with age, don't they? As long as they look after themselves obviously...

Only 15 sleeps till Christmas!

Advent Calendar: Day 9

Good morning! I'm feeling rather organised scheduling my advent calendars, so they are there for you to open in the morning... just after you've had your breakfast. Isn't that when you open yours?

I can't wait to post this guy any longer. I love their music, I love this man's voice. Hopefully with all the Christmas parties going on, you'll all be dancing to Moves Like Jagger lots in weeks to come!

This man is just gorgeous. No words can describe how I feel about Adam Levine. He is a new discovery to me but now I can't stop watching You Tube and all of Maroon 5's videos because they're so damn sexy.

And he's not really my type either. Okay, so I do find some dark haired guys attractive (Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Richard Armitage ...), but nine times out of ten I fancy the blond one.

I can see this guy being very inspirational for me. He hasn't got a superhero build, but he's fit and very, very sexy. And what a voice!

I'm loving the tattoos too. I'm not usually a big fan of tattoos unless on the right guy. And they suit Adam Levine.
